Lorraine M. Geldernick, nee Komes, age 93, beloved wife of the late Harold H. Geldernick, loving mother of Sherrie (Eric) Paulson, Nancy (Michael) Laurinaitis, Gary (Carrie) Geldernick, and the late Lynn (Terry) Skreens; cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 3; dear sister of Ione Patterman; fond aunt and friend of many.
Visitation Friday, October 16, 2015, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m., from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 blk. S. of Ogden) Downers Grove to St. Mary of Gostyn Church. Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

I am saddened for the Geldernick Family about the news of the passing of Aunt Lorraine, however I am very happy to know that she is in heaven today .
Before Denise and I Retired and moved to Florida we stopped by to see her. We wanted to thank her for all of the things she did for me and us. She was the same smiling, happy,make you something to eat person that I new for 62 years.
I told her when we left that we would not return for her funeral.... this was our goodbye... we hugged, we kissed,and we hugged again. She called me Danny......I will never forget the card games,the happy smiling face and the wonderful gift of GOD that she IS.
Thank you Aunt Lorraine for Everthing !
