She was the eldest of three children. She grew up in Port Arthur and on June 2nd, 1953 she married her husband of more than sixty years Ray Ceresino. They moved to California in 1962 and settled in the Los Angeles area. For the last twenty years, she has been residing in the Carmel Valley of Southern California, with her family. She had a large extended family in Thunder Bay. She visited them regularly, and often the entire family vacationed on Lake Superior together. Lorraine was a wonderful friend and we shared many laughs together. 6 of us had boys who played baseball and we started playing poker at each of our homes. We enjoyed the camaraderie for 25 years. I miss her every day as we were both Taurus, Lorraine on the 27th and I on the 29th. I miss her every single day!

I miss Lorraine every day. We were friends starting in the 1960´s through Boys Baseball in West Hills. Her son Gordy and my son Ted played on different teams but we grew close and stayed that way until her passing. We played poker for 25 years with 4 other friends.

I met Lorraine many years ago when I was her mother ‘s caregiver. She was a lovely person and devoted daughter. She always came with much love and gave so much of herself. I saw her brother Ron today who told me of her passing. My sympathies to her family, she was one of a kind.

I was your neighbour before your family moved to California. I was only 13 when you moved to California but I remember your mom and dad with fondness. I am sorry to hear of your mom’s passing.
