née Rateike
Lois Ann Adamski, née Rateike, age 78, longtime resident of Downers Grove, formerly of Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Alan J. Adamski, loving mother of Alan Jr. (Michelle) Adamski, Terri (Ivan) Matsunaga and daughter JoAnn Adamski; cherished grandmother of Madilyn Matsunaga, William Adamski, Tyler Matsunaga, and Matthew Adamski; sister of Clifford (the late Helen), Joan (John), Dennis (Donna), Tim, Carl (Debbie), Wendy (the late Ron), the late: Grace (Stan), Phillip, Pearl (Emil), Doris (Roger) and Russell (Marge); siblings-in-law of the late Tom (Edie), Bill (Donna) and Rich (Rose); aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Proud Downers Grove Crossing Guard for over 30 years, most recently at Whittier School.
Visitation to be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 5211 Carpenter Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515 from 8:30 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM.
