I am so sorry for your loss. Lucy and Lloyd were like extended grandparents for me growing up. I lived on the same street as them. I was devastated to hear about Lucy and once again to hear about Lloyd. They were both very special people. I had a lot of laughs with Lloyd growing up, especially raking leaves with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Gary and family,
What a tough year for you. I was so sorry to read about your dad. I can still see him coming home from work when we would be at your house playing after school. He was always so pleasant and funny. As we said in our phone conversation, Castleton was a wonderful place to grow up. We are so fortunate to have had the families and parents we had. Your dad and mom were wonderful. Now, I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that they are together again. What a nice family they raised. My best to Nancy and Lloyd. We talked about getting together and I'd love to do that. I hope to hear from you.
Love,
Virginia (Kean)Houseman

Dear Nancy,
It seems such a short time ago that you lost your mom. Your dad, like your mom, was always very kind to me when I was a little girl. The sparkle in your eyes comes from him. I clearly remember his quiet dignity, gentle smile and sparkling eyes. Please know my thoughts are with you.
