Linton Cowart Obituary

Linton E. Cowart, age 90, long-time resident of Geneva, passed away June 3, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Jeannine (nee Ruesch) and devoted father of Annette Cowart, Daniel Cowart (Katie Williams) and Pierre Cowart (Ripal Patel) and proud grandfather of Spencer, Logan, Trevor, Nikhil and Anjali. He will be dearly missed. Dr. Cowart served 3 years in the Pacific Theatre in WWII, rising to the rank of captain. He earned his PhD from Louisiana State University and worked many years in research and sales with the DuPont Co. Private services will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
