Lillian Pietroski Obituary
She was born on Nov. 26, 1922 in Oneida, N.Y., a daughter of the late Frank and Lois (Towsley) Tooke and was a graduate of Sherrill High School.
On May 15, 1941 Lillian and Stanley A. Pietroski were united in marriage in Oneida, N.Y. and shared that union of nearly 58 years until Mr. Pietroski's death on May 8, 1999.
Lillian enjoyed caring for her home and spending time with her family. She was a very loving and understanding person and her door was always open to family and friends that needed her caring support. She had a very strong Christian faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan Sonich and David Sonich of Nokesville, Va., Sharon Lust and Terry Lust of Floyd; one son, Stanley Pietroski and Amber Chase of Norwich; eight grandchildren, Karl, Alysha, Lauri, Joseph, Shawn, Terry, Jonathan and Anthony; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, Lydia, and many loving friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill. Mrs. Pietroski's funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. immediately following the calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Valley View Cemetery, Oneida, N.Y.

Praying for Peace for your family now Lil ,as I am sure that they will miss you forever. I can only imagine how happy Stan was to see you arrive in Heaven and the two of you are together again, as it always should have been. There has never been a Mother who loved her children more. R.I.P. My beloved grandma Lillian. She was a beautiful and amazing woman, whose continuous source of love and inspiration will resonate in the afterlife. She has passed onto another consciousness, and is in a far better place... Blessed be her soul.

i grew up down the street from Lillian and Stan and hung out with Sharon and almost thought i'd marry Lee when were young (lol) Although we all grew up and grew apart i'll always remember my childhood and the people who played a part in it...RIP Lillian

Lil, was such a great lady, we played alot of card games when stan was with us. I have so many happy times with Lil,She was like a mother to me, I loved her so such. I will miss her, she was an angel on earth and i know she is our angel in heaven. Love you Lil.

Lill was a delight to be with.She had a sunshine smile and a heart of gold. I loved going over most nights to watch old shows, hear her stories and have a cup of hot chocolate. How blessed George & I were to live next door. Surely a best friend and mother to all. She loved everybody and they loved her.How lucky we all were to have known such a special lady. Lil was a wonderful woman who was known as the sweet neighborhood grandmother. Her door was always open for conversation, a cookie and a hug for all the trailer park kids. She will forever be in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
