Letha Miller Obituary

Letha Aldena (Alden) Miller, 91 of Moscow ID, (Formerly of Wheaton IL), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Born on February 20th 1917 in Charles Mix County SD, she was the daughter of Orville and Olive Alden of Wagner, South Dakota. She married William A Miller on August 7, 1939 in Las Animas CO. They eventually moved to Wheaton IL where they lived for nearly 45 years and raised 3 children.Letha was preceded in death by her husband, William Miller; 3 sisters, Ardel Summers, Lynden Larsen, Myrtle Ramey; and a granddaughter Elizabeth Miller. Letha is survived by her children, Alison (John) Sturgul of Moscow ID; David (Lea) Miller of Cape Coral FL; and Charles (Sheila) Miller of Dekalb, IL; a brother, Mahlon Alden of Belle Fourche SD; and a sister, Joy Davidson of Monett MO, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association Greater IL Chapter via phone 847-933-2413 or on line www.alz.com or to the local Veterans Association.
