Lena Kubala Obituary
Lena (Lee) L. Kubala, age 94, of Westmont passed away peacefully Monday, September 29, 2014.
Beloved wife of Philip M. Kubala. Loving mother of Susan (James) Lupo, Sandra (Charles) Ucherek, and Sharon (Larry) Trapp Rash. Cherished grandmother of twelve. Devoted great-grandmother of eighteen. Fond aunt of two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Durante; and her sister, Delores Jakovich.
Lena was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Westmont; she was a great cook, who loved working, but loved being with her family and having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her.
Visitation was Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Toon Funeral Home, 109 N. Cass Ave. Westmont. Interment was Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
