Leah Joyce Wulf Pittman, age 84 of Yorkville, IL formerly of Wheaton-Carol Stream IL. and Mesa, AZ passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born on September 22, 1937 in Gary, IN the daughter of Herman F. and Rhea M. (Forest) Wulf.
Leah was united in marriage to Mr. Richard A. Pittman and they spent 57 years happily together until his passing in 2011. Mrs. Pittman enjoyed spending her days with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Leah is survived by her children, Pamela Cortright, Audrey Pittman, Richard M. Pittman, and Nettie L. Pittman; her six grandchildren; her eleven great-grandchildren; her one great-great- grandson; also her brother, Thomas Wulf.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Rhea Wulf; her husband, Richard Pittman; her son, Kirby Pittman and daughter, Barbara Hearn; also her son-in-law, John Cortright.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
