My condolences to Larry's family. Larry was a role model of service to others and passionately dedicated to his community. I learned a great deal from working with him on LaGrange village board matters for several years, and will always remember him for his wisdom, humor and kindness.

Rarely does one meet a person of such character and compassion. Larry's dedication to his community served as a role model to many of us. Thank you Larry for giving so much although, I think it is we who have benefited from your service to others. I will miss you greatly.

I will always picture Uncle Larry with a smile on his face and jokingly chastising me for calling him Uncle Larry Huckleberry when I was a kid--although I think he secretly liked his nickname because he knew it was because he was special to all of us. To all of my cousins, my condolences, we will miss our Uncle Larry Huckeberry .
