LaVergne C. Jenkner
LaVergne C. Jenkner; age 90; of Delavan, WI; formerly of LaGrange, IL. Beloved wife of the late Matthew S. Jenkner for a wonderful 58 years. Loving mother of Deborah (late Billy) Tupy, Brian D. (Kim) Jenkner, Peter M. (Mary Kay) Jenkner, Mary (Rick) Danielson and John (Carol) Jenkner. Devoted grandmother of 17 grandchildren. Dear great-grandmother of many. Cherished sister of Karen and Delight. LaVergne was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen Jensen.
LaVergne cared for all, shared with everyone, and gave to anyone. She made a difference in the life of everyone she met. She always had a smile and a kind thought.
Visitation 10am until time of 11am Mass on Friday, July 19th at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange. Family and friends are to meet at 1:45pm immediately after Mass for a committal service at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood (meeting at the Visitor's Center). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgestone Village, Delavan, WI.
