I have great memories of when my mom (your Aunt LaVerne) would bring me over to your house in Lyons when we lived in Berwyn! May you rest in peace. Your family will remain in my prayers for comfort and strength. Love, your cousin, Wanda

Mom,
You have been my Rock for as long as I can remember. I could always comfortably talk to you, about anything and everything. I never had to worry that you would judge me. You have always been open with us. Most of my friends would come over to our house just to hang out with you. They knew they could also comfortably talk to you, with out being judged. I remember I used to come home from school or Volleyball and my friends would all be sitting on the couch watching TV with you. You were there friend and they trusted you. You were a fun MOM. I loved how you used to have water fights with us in the summer and snowball fights with us in the winter. You always knew how to make us all laugh!! No matter what the situation. When you walked into a room you would light it up with your wonderful personality. Misty and I were just talking the other day, about the Thanksgiving when you made the turkey walk around, headless and all. HAHA That is one of the things we will never forget, even though you used to do funny stuff like that a lot. Some peoples mothers teach them NOT to play with there food. You taught us to have fun with it. I will teach my children the same.
I knew that whenever I needed anything, you would be there for me, even if you had to walk 500 miles to get to me, you would. I will always appreciate that. I hope that I can be as good of a Mother as you were to us. I hope that my children can come to me about anything. Another thing I loved, is how I could sit down and watch movie after movie, with you for hours of the day. Your favorite movie was 6days 7nights. We knew the movie word for word. When we all used to dance and sing together, you could tell we were from different times but it was so much fun anyway. We have a lot in common. The fun times at the river, and the vacations we used to take together, I will never forget a minute of it.
I’m sure Adam will also never forget all the fun you had with him. Watching the doggy poop movie with him over and over again. Running around and playing with him. Taking him outside to play Baseball. He is a good kid today because he was blessed to have you help raise him and bring him up right. I don’t know what I would have done without you. I wish you could see him today, he reminds me a lot of you. So does Kaylee, the faces she makes, and her reactions, I see you so much in her. I’m glad she got the privilege of getting to know you. You hung on for her.
I was truly blessed to have a mother like you. I wouldn’t be where I am in life, and the person I am today, if it wasn’t for you. You taught me a lot, everything from life lessons to how to make cookies. You were the best mother any child could ever wish for. You were also the Worlds greatest grandmother.
I Miss you so much. But I know You will always be with me, Mom. WE LOVE YOU!!!

Mom
When you were with me
I took you for granted,
Now that you are not with me,
I wish you could be
Mommy
I miss you so much,
Even though I know
that your in a better place,
All I wish for is to see your face
Mommy
I love you so much,
And now I know that life is short
To never take anything for granted.
To tell everyone you love,
How much you love them
Everyday
Because I wish I would have.

~*In Our Hearts*~
We though of you with Love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And the days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is Memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
From which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
We have you in our Heart.

~*Her Journey's Just Begun*~
Dont think of Her as Gone Away,
Her journey's just begun
Life holds so many facets-
This Earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows & the tears
in a place of warmth & comfort
Where there are No Days & Years
Think of how she must be wishing
that we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
can really pass away
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched....
FOR NOTHING LOVED IS EVER LOST
& SHE WAS LOVED SO MUCH

Beloved Miracles
Tiny miracle of hope, extraordinary blessing, smallest dream, how great the love to start the pitter-pat of your clock, how great the shock when you are gone, how rare the grief, the roar of pain, and then, with luck,to be blessed again,to have,to hold,to give,to share,to dare the rocks, the waves again,to swim until you can no more,to cry out in the dark with longing bigger than the sky, whisper softly, bring it near, hope the gentler spirits hear, long wait, dark night, never dare to breathe, until tiny fingers pluck your sleeve, and touch your heart with gold, never too late, too dark to have a child to hold, miracle of life, precious moment of them all, aching whispers, anguished call, until at long last here, and then to hold you in my arms, ever loved, instantly ours, beloved wonder oh so dear.
Love You

Laura,
I enjoyed the time i got to spend with you!! You gave me a lot to learn from and some good memories I wont forget. It was nice to sneak out to see you and bring you movies. Even though you were dieing of cancer you always worried about everyone else and never asked for much. The night we talked and you almost had me crying you wished for 3 things. 1 to see christmas one last time 2 to see dawnies baby be born and 3 to be cremated. You got all 3 !!! :) I really am going to miss you!!
