Jim and family,
We just heard of Laura's death and were very sad to hear of her passing. What a blessing to know she is with God now. As former members of St. John's, we remember her smiling face and bright personality. She was friendly to all and look forward to seeing her again some day in Heaven. God be with you in your time of need.

Dear Jim & Family,
We will always remember the very first time we met you and Laura in our small Bible study class at church and what friendly and caring friends you became. We have very fond memories of seeing you and your beautiful (then young) children every Sunday and always being welcomed by Laura's beautiful smile and a funny story of two we'd all share as couples of young children. When Laura visited our home once she brought over her famous pumpkin bread and I made sure to call her for the recipe; I have that same recipe card in one of my cookbooks and have used it many times over the years, always thinking of her and all of you. We may have moved across the country many years ago, but we will never forget you......and Laura will forever remain in our hearts and all of you in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all and comfort you during this time.

Dear Jim, Meredith, Chris, Kimberly, Stephanie,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of dear Laura. All the pictures of her as a teen bring back wonderful memories of her cheerful smile and warm personality brightening my classroom at Walther! It has been a blessing knowing her with all of you at St. John's the past 17 years. I will so miss her lovely, caring face and voice. Our Lord Jesus loves you and will bless you and keep you. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how hard it is to deal with the loss of someone close, especially when it happens suddenly. Just remember your mom is in a better place and now she will be watching over you no matter where you go or what you do. She will always be by your side. Keep your family close and between all of you, everyone will remain strong. Whenever you feel weak, just pray and think of all the good times your mom and family had together. Dear Jim and family,

Laura was the kindest, most caring person that I was honored to have known. Since Mark left us, there has never been a time when she didn't do something thoughtful and kind to uplift us all. You had a beautiful caring spouse in her and what you had in almost 27 yrs of marriage, most people having 30 or 40 years, don't experience. She was a loving and supportive mom to the kids. Her spirit will live on in them.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, you know that. Laura is at peace and may her new journey be a happy one. I can just see her beautiful smile....

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Mrs. Hubacek was a great lady. I've been friends with her oldest daughter for years and i remember the first time i met Mrs. Hubacek. We where sitting at the kitchen table and she was making jokes about i think the dog :) She will be greatly missed.
