My condolences go out to Jackie's husband, Mel, her children and to her entire family at this difficult time.

Jackie was a fellow DeKalb High School classmate (1959), who was both very charming and a good friend. She was the kind of person who made those around her better, as evidenced by the kind of support she received from her friends during her long and courageous battle.

With deepest sympathy and God's blessings,

Jim Anderson

Mel, David and Diana, and family members, please accept our deepest sympathies. May God bless you in this time of sorry. I was fortunate to have Jackie as a close friend for almost 60 years, having met as freshmen at DHS in 1956. Her unique personality, beautiful smile and refreshing laughter will be missed by all those who knew her, especially this writer.

Jackie, I'll think of you often and will love you and miss you always. Your battle is over now, but your memory will remain with us, as will our love for you.

Dear Mel, David, Diana and family,
Our prayers and sympathy go out the you all at the loss of your wife, your mother, and our very dear and special friend. If everyone could have a thoughtful and caring friend like Jackie, the world would be a much happier place. I'm so thankful to have gotten to spend some time with Jackie and Mel a couple weeks ago. Even in her final days she brightened up the room. Knowing Jackie she already has a spot saved for all her family and friends because Jackie always thought of the other person. Will miss our daily e-mails and Face book chat more than you will ever know. Mel, you were Jackie's angel on earth with the love and care that you gave to her. May God bless this family and keep them in his loving care.
With love and Prayers always,
Linda and Randy
