Kevin Mark Gerharz, age 62, of Waterford, WI, passed away unexpectedly at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and "was called to that big private lake in the sky" October 10, 2016.

Kevin was born to Urban and Patricia (nee Barley) Gerharz on August 23, 1954, while in the military based in Honolulu, Hawaii. After returning to the mainland, he graduated from high school in Lemont, Il. Kevin moved to Waukesha where he met the love of his life, Teri Stoll, right next door to his home and they began their relationship before moving to Waterford, WI in 1995. On July 4, 2007 Kevin and Teri were married in Las Vegas.

Kevin loved fishing, music, riding his motorcycle and most of all sitting in his extra wide recliner. He was a loving and caring husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be missed beyond words.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Teri; three sisters, Diana Ruettiger, Eileen (John) Prendergast, Tracy (Edward) Pietrzyk; two brothers, Glen (Amanda) Gerharz and Cullen O'Mara; five nieces, Emma, Claire, Aubrey, Kailey and Madison; two nephews, Eddie James and Bryant; one aunt, Karen (David); seven cousins, Timothy and David Garvey, Philip, Susan, Charlie, Andrew and Lizzy Berber; and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents, Urban and Patricia; grandparents, Urban and Marian; one aunt, Marilyn Bebber; and two uncles, Ralph and Robert Barley.

A memorial gathering was held on October 17, at Mealy Funeral Home in Waterford Wisconsin.
