Kerry Garth King

Kerry Garth King passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 10, 2007, at his home in Snohomish. He was born on July 9, 1949 in Seattle, WA.
Kerry grew up in Bothell, WA and was an alumni of the University of Washington. He valued the many friendships made through his 27-year career as sales manager at the Seattle-Snohomish Mill.
Kerry was known for his strength, courage and commitment to his family and friends. An Eagle Scout, he loved the outdoors, trees, and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara; daughters, Amy (fiancé, Brent Fattore) and Jenny Shimada (Courtney); parents, Jack and Marlene; sister, Kami Grove (Richard); nephew, Jack; and his cherished grandchildren, Miya and Kobe Shimada.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, November 15, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish, 1306 Lake View Avenue, Snohomish.
Donations in memory of Kerry can be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center - P.O. Box 19024, Seattle, WA 98109.
