Polly: I am sorry I couldn't make it to Illinois for Ken's funeral. Glad that Dave was able to go. We have such fond memories of your trip to Minot in March 2007 for our wedding! Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May Ken rest with God for eternity.

Mr. Peters will always be in my heart. He never hesitated to lend a hand and always had a smile. Walking into the bank you heard his laugh, bringing a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. I am honored to have had him in my life. Thank you!!!

What a guy! Quick with a smile, kind word and a joke! We will always remember hearing his laugh when we would arrive at the 'blue house' each summer. He will be missed and remembered fondly by our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Polly, Blake, Blair and your families too.

Ken had such a commanding yet calming presence - in both stature and personality. Will never forget his willingness to spread the joy and magic of Santa to so many people.

I will miss Ken a lot. Every time I pulled up to the cottage and he was sitting reading the paper or just relaxing, we would exchange comments that would send us both laughing. I enjoyed some of our talks at the beach.
I can see Ken and Charlie up in heaven sitting by a beach somewhere having a laugh. Now, when I pull up to the cottage I will think of Craig, Charlie and Ken and think of the fun we had at the lakeshore. I'm sorry I didn't get to grill him that steak we talked about
everytime I grilled at the cottage.

Polly, we are so sorry to learn of Ken's passing. I am one of Ken's "McAllister cousins", daughter of Robert Wilkins McAllister who was Beulah's brother. Although I have never met you and the boys, we enjoyed keeping up with your family when Beulah was still living. What a good man Ken was and how he loved his family. May God's comfort and peace be yours in the days and weeks ahead.

Ken was Santa Claus for my family every year when I was a child, a great neighbor, a mentor and a fellow Boy Scout. A great man who made a difference in many ways for many people. I will not forget him.

What a great guy and neighbor! Ken was always smiling. I remember him playing Santa for our kids many times and it was always a treat. He will be dearly missed.
