Kenneth Sean Baker

Born: Feb. 2, 1970; in Hinsdale, IL,

Died: Aug 20, 2014; in Phoenix, AZ

Kenneth Sean Baker, 44, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2014, after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix , AZ.

Kenny was born on February 2, 1970, in Hinsdale, IL, the 3rd son of Orville Gerald and Patricia (Schoenberger) Baker. He graduated from Westmont High School in 1988 before becoming a wood finisher and painter. He settled down in 1996 when he married Kimberly Ann Mason. They soon had 3 daughters and raised them in Oswego, IL. In 2012, they started a new chapter by moving to the sunny desert of Phoenix , AZ. Kenny was very proud of his sobriety and celebrated 17 years on August 5, 2014.

He assisted in developing the first tournament-level youth "Sugar & Spice" softball team in Oswego. He loved coaching and recently became a Certified Umpire for fast-pitch softball. He was known for stating, "The only thing fair in life is between first and third". Like George Bailey in his favorite movie, "It's a Wonderful Life", he touched the lives of many with his strong faith, quick wit and inspiring character.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kim; his three beautiful daughters, Kelsea, Kaysea, and Katelyn; his parents, Jerry and Pat; two brothers, Tim and Tony; and many extended family members.

He was also predeceased by his older brother, Patrick.

His family will be attending the celebration of Kenny's life on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Christian Church, 1637 Emerson Lane, Naperville, Illinois .
