Karyn L. Bujwid, nee Bossinger, age 65; beloved wife of Henry "Hank" C. Bujwid; loving mother of Rachel (fianc Nathan Sanders) Bujwid; loving daughter of the late Lila and William Bossinger; dear sister of Gail (Roger) Myers, Barbara (William) Lewellen, Alice (David) Drury; devoted aunt of Nicholas (Nicole) Drury, Benjamin Drury, Christine (Adam) Davis, Jennifer (William) Weidman and Sara Mathews; dearest grand aunt of Liam and Claire; fond daughter in law of Bernice and the late Olgierd; dearest sister in law of Wanda McKenna and Gregory and Mary Bujwid.
Visitation was held Monday, April 27th at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, Downers Grove and the Funeral was held Tuesday, April 28th at Divine Savior Church, Downers Grove. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Memorials to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or Girl Scouts of Greater Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, www.girlscoutsgcnwi.org , appreciated.

Karyn will be remembered for her big heart and generosity. Over the holidays, her door was open to my brother, Greg, and his sailor friends from Great Lakes Naval Basic Training. She made sure no one went back hungry. She always sent food "care" packages to my parents of the delicious food she loved to cook. She participated in a cookbook providing her favorite recipes. I will remember the great joy she had when daughter, Rachel, was born. What a great mother! She could never do enough for Rachel. She was an avid reader and not only could she talk on any subject, but could also argue her point. She loved gardening and the beautiful flowers in the yard. Involving my brother, Hank, she started a vegetable garden and shared the bounty with friends. She is now at peace with God.
