To the family of Karen,
Hold on to the passion that she had for life, may she live on in your actions. As she holds the hands of family who where waiting in hevan, you can here the laughter of days gone. Hold the sound close to your heart when it weeps and soon the joy will soften your tears. Time will be your friend. It will someday erase the pain and leave memories. May you be wrapped in Gods love and it give you peace in the hard time to come.

Karen Renee Moudy;
so beautiful and vibrant.
she touched the hearts of many.
forever treasured the memories will be.
never forgotten.

at first i cried at the thought that you were gone.
but then i realized that you aren't,
you never will be.
because your beauty shines in the morning sunrise.
your beautiful laugh carries in the afternoon wind.
your smile peeks out behind the moon at night.
you love is in the hearts of those who love you
your music,so good it brings tears to my eyes, still plays in the ears of those who've heard it.
and your spirit, forever happy, travels through the streams and oceans around the world.
Karen Renee Moudy,
i love you terribly so.
you will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, be in my heart.
the memories of you still linger in everyday thoughts.
i love you

I told myself this summer, Mark and I and the kids were coming down to spend a night or two with you on the river. I wanted to float down the river together.. I am sad I let that opportunity slip by in summers past. This summer I will keep that promise and do it with you in spirit. I will wake early in the morning to watch that beautiful sunrise that you loved so much and I will thank Jesus for the blessing of having you as my sister. Oh and by the way, I had something to give you when you came home. Your St. Thomas bag of oil paint that you let me use. I wanted so badly to have alittle bit of your talent as a painter and thought I would give it a try. We even talked about me coming down there every couple of weekends for painting lessons. You wanted me to record Bob Ross so we could watch him and learn some of his techniques together. Some of those tubes of paint in that bag are ones you started painting with a long time ago. I was going to give them back to you.. but now I will treasure them. I will try my hand at painting again... I think a beautiful sunrise with your name lovingly painted in the beams of sunlight streaming in through the clouds will be the perfect one to start. I love you sis.

Mom Always

May 3, 2008

From Mom!
Miss you,Miss you,Miss you.
Everything I do
echoes with the laughter
and the voice of you.
You're on ever corner, every turn & twist, every old familiar spot whispers how your missed.
Miss you, Miss you, Miss you.
Every where I go there are poignant memories dancing in a row,
Silhouetes & shadows of your form & face, substance & reality everywhere displaced.
OH!I Miss you girl!!!
There's a strange sad silence mid the busy whirl.
Just as though the ordinary daily things I do,wait with me expectant for just a word from you.
Miss you, Miss you,Miss you!!
Nothing now seems true,ONLY THAT TWAS HEAVEN JUST TO BE WITH YOU...

Beautiful you!

No matter how much time passes I will never forget the wonderful times that us girls shared together, from Progesso to Allendale and everywhere in between. It's a tragic reminder of how short life really is. Live each day to the fullest. I love you aunt Karen and you'll be in my heart forever.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Sissy, it's Neeter girl..your baby sis. I got irritated when you called me by that name hoping one day you would let me grow up . At my age of 38 It never happend. I guess that's what the baby of the family has to deal with. I would give anything to hear you say my name again. My tears fall like rain from the sadness of loosing you. I can't fathom the reasons God had but for whatever reason I am still so sad. I will miss you. NO FAIR... tell Daddy to save a dance for me. Your free beautiful angel! I'll be seeing you.

I love this pic of you Sis, so vibrant, so sassy. I love you! I miss you terribly!

My alli. my adversary.
and at times my greatest competitor.
We shared, we fought, we loved.
As we grew, we chose our own paths,
our own lives
and allowed only the miles to seperate us.
My sister.
She has always been a part of me.
always been a friend,
always been.
I'll see her again,
in the spring.,
when the sweet peas bloom,
and bittersweet orange takes over summer.
She'll sit with me
in the crisp, red leaves of autumn,
and she'll sparkle
in the newly fallen snows of winter.
Sadly missed by your little sister, Brenda Lee, your neice Rachel and your nefews Zachariah and Benjamin
who ever put this up here thank you thank thank you and God Bless you

Dear Bob,
We can't believe that something like this could happen to Karen. She was way to young and such a great singer. We enjoyed her singing and being with you both and all our friends at Pregresso every Tuesday and at Pepe's and La Joya. She will truly be missed by all. Karen will always be in our memories and we know her & Freda are in heaven having a fun time together. Your dancing friends.

Dear Bob,
Words can't express the shock and sorrow I felt when I heard the news of Karen Rene's death. How unbelievable- it was only on Thursday, the 10th when I visited with you both, and your friends, at Galaria's in Nvo. Progresso. We spoke of Karen's last gigs for the season and she invited several of us to come hear her soon. She wil always be remembered, and you are in our prayers.
