June Stoltz Obituary


June E. Stoltz of Glen Ellyn passed away February 16, 2013 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late Albert, loving mother of Linda Stoltz (Jerry) Poquette , Charles Stoltz ( Diane Deets), Roger (Shauna) Stoltz and Elizabeth Stoltz, devoted grandfather of Jesse and Signe Poquette, Perry Stoltz-Hohlstein and Oscar Stoltz, Fond sister of LeRoy Haglund and Dr. Roger Haglund (Jacqui O'Neil). Aunt of many nieces & nephews and cousin and friend of many.
She was born in Duluth, MN on June 17th, 1926 to Signe & Hjalmer Haglund. She was a member since 1956 of the 1st United Methodist Church. A member & past president of the Glen Ellyn Woman's Club. She received a degree from the University of Minnesota, becoming a social worker in Minneapolis and Chicago. Her passions in life were playing the piano, singing and the welfare of children.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 21st from 4-8 pm at the Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Funeral service Friday 11 AM at the 1st United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn, 424 Forest Ave with a visitation at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Morton Arboretum or the 1st United Methodist Church appreciated.
