Julia White Obituary

Julia M White, Age 90, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2004 at Canterbury House, Health Care Center in Auburn, WA. Julia was born September 4, 1914 in Ely, Minnesota. She moved to Washington in June 1951 and resided in Renton, Bonney Lake, Auburn and finally at Farrington Court, Kent where she made many new friends and acquaintances. Julia began employment with Boeing at Plant 2, in June 1951 and retired in 1979 from Boeing's Auburn Plant after 28 years. Following retirement Julia enjoyed craft work, Square dancing and some travel, including a trip to Yugoslavia, the homeland of her parents, John and Johanna Shega. Julia is survived by two sons, Tom White, Tukwila and Pat White and wife Dollie, Olympia; and a daughter, Mary Jo Wangen and husband Bill, Leavenworth; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Johanna Shega, Ely, Minnesota; sister, Ann Galpin and brother, John Shega. Surviving siblings include: Joseph Shega, Marge Bobniz, Mary Zuvella, all of Cleveland, Ohio; Amelia Gornik, Ely Minnesota, and Rose MacMasters, Franklin, MN. At Julia's request, no services will be held. Internment will be in Riverton Crest Cemetery.
