Judy K. Schmidt, age 76 of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Patrick's Residence of Naperville.
She was born April 15, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to the loving late parents, Merlin and Eugenia Dipert.
Beloved wife of Charles W. Schmidt, wedded in 1971. Cherished mother of Michael (Braeden) Schmidt and Brian (LaTreasha) Schmidt. Adored grandmother of Emmeline and Josephine Schmidt. Dearest sister of Jerry (Debbie) Dipert.
Judy was a teacher in various public school system. After raising her children, she taught grammar school at St. Scholastica in Woodridge and Immaculate Conception School in Elmhurst. She retired as Principal from Immaculate Conception in 2009. Judy's passion was working with children and coaching sports.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Edward Foundation, 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL 60540.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 4th 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, October 5th 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville, IL 60540. Interment to follow at Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL.

We have very foundest memory of her being the principal of ICGS when my daughter afshan was In School . She made my daughter felt very welcomed and accepted in school as she joined the school in 5th grade . Our deepest condolences to the family she has and always be remembered in our hearts as a great educator . May God place her at the highest seat in heaven . Amen
