Joyce Zimnicki Obituary
Joyce Karen Zimnicki passed away peacefully June 26, 2018 at the age of 82.
Joyce was born in Chicago, resided in Cicero and Berwyn until moving to Auburn, Alabama in 1979, and returned back to the Chicagoland area in 2014 where she resided in St. Charles.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Zimnicki. Loving mother of Bill (Turna) May, Steven May and Carolyn Kennedy. Cherished daughter of the late Elma and Charles Schrader. Fond grandmother of Zachary (Hannah Marie) Dunlap, Daniel Dunlap and Hannah Dunlap. Great grandmother of Kai Dunlap. Dear sister of Joann (Roger) Koudelka and the late Barbara (Wayne) Jonassen. Loving aunt of Lori (Ray) Vix, Cindy (Ken) Sowa, Patty (Ed) Rundle, Sharon (Ricardo) Lezama, David (Pam) Reitnecht, Tom (Sybil) Reitnecht and Bruce (Alice) Delaney. Great aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends gathered Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Carriage Oaks, 1500 S 14th St, St. Charles, IL 60174, for a celebration of life 1:00PM to 5:00PM with a memorial service at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, IL would be greatly appreciated.
