Shannon Family,
May Joe rest in peace. Sad to hear the news belatedly. His spirit, the sound of his commanding voice, his laughter, and twinkle in his eye will be missed by his friends and community. How blessed was his life to meet Sally and bring into this world all you kids and your stories for next generations of the Shannon clan. Dear friends of the Paul & Nancy, we share your loss. I think of many close friendships and shared gatherings, Murphys, Sinnotts, Molidors, Shannons, & Krams.
Peace and solace in your loss - he is missed!

Dear Shannon's,
I am so very sorry about hearing that your father had passed away. Growing up next door was an adventure. I used to say that my dad should have had 8 sons instead of one daughter. Your dad came to my sister's funeral and I will be forever thankful for that. Time softens our wounds, but does not take them away. Your dad lived a good life.

I knew Joe for many years as he was a client of mine with Merrill Lynch. We had many disagreements over the years as he tried to convert me to a liberal, unsuccessfully. Always respectful, always humorous. We talked many times about playing golf together but were never able to get it done. He was so very proud of his children. I'm sure this will leave a terrible void in your lives. May his memory alwats be a blessing to all of you.
