Joseph G. Ruiz, age 79, of Elmhurst, Beloved Husband of the late Dorothy Ann Ruiz, nee Tomaszek; Loving Father of Denise (Jeff) Genthe, Jody (Rich) Leesley, Philip (Melanie Iwasko) Ruiz; Proud Grandfather of Richy Leesley, Wesley Genthe, Candace Genthe, Nicole Leeseley, Vincent Genthe; Dear Brother of Jesse, Salvador, and the late Jose Macario, Trinidad, Gregory, Mary, John, Theresa, Philemon and Marcial; Fond Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a member of the Bricklayer and Stone Masons Union Local 21 for over 50 years.
Visitation at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst, on Tuesday, August 23, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, August 24, beginning with prayers at the mortuary at 8:30 a.m. and proceeding to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Elmhurst, Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
