Joseph Krakora Obituary
Joseph A. Krakora, age 77, United States Army Veteran, and resident of Brookfield for 49 years, passed away July 1, 2014.
Married over 50 years to his beloved wife, Kay, nee Greco. Loving father of Pam Dietz, Kathy (Tony) Mogorovic, and Dina (Kevin) Cox. Cherished grandfather of Louie, Zach, Anna, Megan, Sarah, Jason and Katelyn. Fond brother of Eleanor (Charles) Polak.
Joseph was an avid sportsman and especially enjoyed his hunting guns and bows, and loved his Harley Davidson Club.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Funeral services were held Monday, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Military honors and Entombment took place at the Woodlawn Mausoleum of Eternal Light.

Dina, Pam and Family,
I'm so sorry for your great loss. I will always remember how proud he was when I would tell him that his daughter Dina could fix anything and how she gave him all the credit for being a great teacher! He laughed when I told him we joke and call him MacGyver he said, "yep, I always made sure to show them how to do things." Through his beautiful daughters and grandchildren his love and legacy will live on.

Dear Kay, Chuck and I were so glad to see Joe while he was able to visit with us and still show his great smile. I will miss him as we had a lot of memories that no one else shares between my brother and myself . We will be thinking of you Kay and keeping in touch. Give a hug for us to the girls.
