Beloved husband of the late Wanda nee Hammerschmidt; devoted father of Karen Baker, Daniel (Nancy) and the late Joseph (the late Susan); dear grandfather of Ginger (David) Garbo; Jessica (Mike) Phipps, Amanda (Tim) Barger and Sarah (Kevin) Fitzgerald; great-grandfather of 8; fond brother of James and William (Connie). Member of Lombard Masonic Lodge #1098 and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 5. Visitation Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of Masonic Service at 1 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd.
