Jose L. Magana, age 84, of Berwyn. Beloved husband of 67 years to Bertha Magana, nee Cortez. Loving father of Debra Magana, Yolanda (Roger) Marcus, Amelia (Rick) Morales, Jose L. (Martha) Magana, Jr., Anna Magana, Sophia (Scott) Hopman, Andrew Magana, Christopher (Sonia) Magana; grandfather of Jillian, Garrett, Ricky, Nicky, Louie, Jake, Mallory, Joseph, Halie, Matthew, Julie, Alyssa, Luke, Josh, Ashley, Lil Chris and Lilly; great grandfather of Maddie, Mason, Jade, Esme, Eli, Elise, Anally, Emma, Christopher, Miguel, David, Jordan, Audrey and Aliana; brother of 2 brothers and 4 sisters; uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 8:45 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday at St. Leonard Church, at 10 A.M.

All State and FederalCovid - Recommendations & Guidelines are followed. All guests were required (maximum of 50 at a time) to wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
