Mr. Schaefer was a longtime customer where I work and was always an extremely friendly and kind man. He will be missed very much by myself and my coworkers.

I wanted to tell you how very sad I was to hear of John's passing. I looked forward to seeing him at Schefflers every Saturday morning while he picked up a gardenia for his dear wife. I enjoyed hearing stories about her and was touched by his neverending love for her. I know he was smiliing from ear to ear when she was there waiting to meet him at Heavens gates! May you rest in peace.
Sincerely, Michalene Catanzaro

I will always remember John driving by the house in his old Ford and giving me a wave.
My best to the family.
