John Radix Obituary

John "Jack" Radix, Jr., age 64, died September 12, 2008 at his home after a long illness. Jack was a resident of Elmhurst for 29 years. Graduate of Northern Illinois University. Partner with John Pearson of Bruce Offset in Elk Grove Village. Avid golfer and grandnephew of Harry E. Radix founder of the Radix Cup. He is survived by his wife Mary of 25 years. Daughter Karen Van Sickle (Greg). Granddaughters Grace and Valerie. Stepson Dominick Gora (Inge). Sister Donna Haas (Robert), sister Catherine Mansell (Tony), brother Robert Radix (Heidi), niece Ruth Bonilla, nephews Brian Haas, David Haas, Andrew Muttart and John Mansell and 3 grandnephews, 1 grandniece. Special friends Jeff Kaye and Jennifer Rowley. Visitation October 18th, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with funeral service 6:30PM at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, IL. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the St. Thomas Hospice, 8230 S Madison, Burr Ridge, IL 60157. Interment will be private. For information call 630-834-3515 or www.ahlgrim.com
