My heartfelt condolences to all the family. I knew Jack through my dear late dad's longtime circle of friends at NL Industries. Everyone in this wonderful group appreciated Jack's kind,personable ways and strong work ethic. I always enjoyed including "oplatki" in Christmas cards to him. Jack's own holiday updates were informative, witty and reflective of his deep spirituality and love of family. I am so sorry to have missed this obituary and certainly would have paid my respects in person. Once again, my heartfelt condolences to all of Jack's family.

Jack was one of the nicest people we've had the privilege of knowing. He was funny, kind, and thoughtful. We're really going to miss him.
