John and I worked together while at Kemper. He was truly one of the good guys. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Please know he spoke very fondly of his family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

In the short time that we knew John Parsons at Heritage Palms in Ft. Myers, we were always happy to see his smiling face. Our prayers continue to be with Gail and the family during this time. May God continue to bless you.

I also knew John from his activity with the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code and it's committees. He was a fine gentleman and a good leader who got things done. He is missed.

I am so sorry to hear about John from one of our fellow Kemper staff. He and I shared many laughs way back when while working together in LCE at Kemper. I will always remember his smile. I looked forward to going to work everyday while working with John. I am sorry for your loss Gail and family.

I knew John from his participation in ASME Boiler Code Committee meetings. He was a smart and patient man who helped contribute to the process.
Mostly, though, he was a fine human being. He and I always made it a point to have at least one meal together - even if it was only an ice cream cone!! I've missed his company and sense of humor over the last few years when he stopped attending the meetings.
May God grant him his Eternal Rest.

I traveled back and forth to Kemper with John for years. We shared many thoughts and dreams about our kids, retirement, and life experiences. We had many laughs together. He was a great man and willl be sorely missed.

It is with deep sadness that I learn of the loss of John to his family and friends. I had the privilege and pleasure of working with John at CB&I in Oak Brook and enjoyed our friendship very much. He was first class in every respect. May God bless his family and friends and give them comfort in this difficult time.

I worked in the same dept at CB&I with John in the late 1970s. He was a knowledgable, respected expert in his field. But he was also a gentle, kind, and joyful man --- always a pleasure to be around.
