John Hasser Obituary
John F. Hasser, age 69, passed away on April 15, 2016. Formerly of Fowler, Indiana, he was a longtime resident of Elmhurst, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Jane nee McIntyre.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bettie; siblings Joe (Sharon) Hasser, Bill (Patsy) Hasser, Ralph (Mary) Hasser, Mary (Pat) DeBruicker, Elizabeth (Bob) Adams, Helen Terrell and Diane (Chuck) Brammer; numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companion, Willow.
He recently retired from US Airways, after 46 years of helping to make travel better for all.
John was proud of his service in the United States Air Force and was a volunteer at the American Legion in Elmhurst and at the USO at O'Hare Airport. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. John was a great friend to all. His fun loving, easy going manner and warm smile will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans (MSHV), 433 S. Carlton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.

John was our buddy who always made us laugh, his love for life showed in everything he did. My fondest memory of him will always be our 55th Class reunion in Fowler When he walked in with a cardboard cutout of himself with the Fowler High class sweater on it. God has gained a wonderful angel . Rest in peace. Class of 1964 wishes to make a contribution to the Homeless VA in Johns name.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. I remember him setting at our table at our most recent class reunion. He was a very nice person who was so easy going.
