John Francis Bomarito Obituary
February 7, 1928 ~ September 2, 2008
Salinas, California – John Bomarito, 80, passed away September 2, 2008 at his home at the Dorrance Ranch on Mt. Toro.
He is survived by his wife, Heather; brothers Michael Bomarito of Monterey, Nick Bomarito of Brentwood; sister Grace Posey of Monterey; son Jon Bomarito of Monterey; daughter Mary Ann Russo of Salinas; niece
Mary Jane Bomarito; nephews Stephen, Michael, Nick, Mark and Chris Posey; and several grandchildren.
At his request, no services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
A special thank you to his longtime companion and caretaker, Tom Oakley of Mt. Toro.
Thank you to the staff of Hospice for their support and kindness – particularly Jody, Marquita, Isabel, and Carol.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to the VNA/Hospice P.O. Box 2480, Monterey, CA 93942.
