Mr. John Albert Faulk - STATESBORO - Mr. John Albert Faulk, 94, husband of the late Florence Wise Faulk, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Pendleton, SC. John was born October 28, 1913 in Egypt, Georgia, a son of the late Phillip Fulton Faulk and Remmie Hutson Faulk. He lived in Savannah most of his adult life, employed in the field of Sheet and Metal, Roofing and General Contractor. Retiring in 1979, he left Savannah and moved to Brooklet. He enjoyed fishing as a past time. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Brooklet and Community Bible Church of Beaufort, SC. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Bill Horton of Brooklet, Faye and Robert Martin of Mims, Fla. and LaVerne and Benny Marsh of Pendleton, SC; seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Hodges- Moore Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Jon Krieger and Rev. Joe Clifford officiating. Interment: Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Upstate, Inc., 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
