Mr. Bonini missed his wife and her cooking more than anything, and when he talked about her his eyes would fill with tears. He would always ask me what my wife cooked for me of which I would have to decribe the meal like food critic to satisfy him. My wife, father and I will miss him and his stories. It gives me comfort to know he and Jean are back in each others arms in Chicago the city he loved, and his true home. My depest sympathies to John Jr and the rest of John's family. John "showed me the ropes" when he was with Cook County and I was a young Assistant State's Attorney. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with John's family.

I WORKED WITH JOHN AT COOK COUNTY BUILDING DEPT. HE WAS A VERY FRIENDLY MAN AND A JOY TO WORK WITH. I KNOW HE MISSED HIS WIFE DEARLY. REST IN PEACE DENNIS CROWLEY RETIRED CHIEF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR.
