JoAnn L. Immekus, nee Mitchell, age 78, of Riverside.
Loving wife of the late Charles E. Bates and John E. Immekus; precious mom of Mark (Debbie) Bates, J.J. Bates, Jeff (Jean) Bates, Jen (the late Kevin) Reynolds, Paul (Kimberly) Bates, Julie Bates and Joe Bates; dearest grandmother of Matt Bates, Peter (Diana) Bates, Jessica Bates, Nathan Bates, Luke Bates, Collette (Matt) Jurek, Katelyn Reynolds and Cory Reynolds.
JoAnn spent much of her life devoted to her children and grandchildren.
She was a medical transcriptionist for Loyola for 25 years and loved to travel the world.
Visitation Wednesday, November 18, 2015, from 3:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Thursday, November 19, 2015, from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL. Funeral Thursday, 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass at 10:00 A.M. Please omit flowers. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
