Joane Bales Obituary

Joane M Bales, age 76, of Sarasota, FL, formerly a 60 year LaGrange, IL resident, passed away January 22, 2008 in Sarasota, FL from Alzheimers complications. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 26, 2008 at St Andrew UCC, 6908 Beneva Rd, Sarasota, FL. Joane was a retired bookkeeper from American Stair Co in Willow Springs, IL. She attended LTHS (class of 1949). She is survived by her husband, of 56 years, Robert L Bales; daughters, Laura Miller of River Falls, WI and Cindy Russell of Seffner, FL; sons, Russell Bales of Annapolis, MD and Robert Bales of Broken Arrow, OK; brother Dick Wilhelm of Sarasota, FL and eight grandchildren. A memorial will be held this Summer at Lyonsville Congregational Church, Indian Head Park. The family will place an announcement of such, in paper prior to event.
