Joan Whitebread Obituary
Joan Marie Whitebread, nee Rumbyrt, 92, of Indian Head Park, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jerry Whitebread. She is survived by her children: Gary (Bridgette) Whitebread and Jodi (John) McDonald. She was the beloved grandmother of Hillary (Jordan) Radke, the late Jeffrey (Melissa) Whitebread, Erin (Luke) Goodwin, and the late Brian Whitebread as well as great-grandmother to Mia, Casey and Lyla Whitebread; Grant, Kellan and Eve Goodwin. Joan always exuded love and pride for her family. One of her favorite sayings was how blessed her family was. Joan was an avid golfer who was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed camping, tai chi, and all types of social activities. Joan loved life and when meeting her, she made you feel as though you were her very best friend. She was joyous, kind, and generous. She always had a smile on her beautiful face. Her wonderful sense of humor and sparkling blue eyes will be missed by all who were fortunate to know her. Interment private. Joan was my very dear friend and neighbor at Wilshire Green. I felt close to her immediately. We had very deep conversations and also lots of laughs together. I will miss her forever.
