JOAN C. MCGARRY
AGE: 70 ANNANDALE
Joan C. McGarry, 70, of Annandale, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at Gates Manor Nursing Home in Montclair. She was born in Manville & had lived in So. Bound Brook before moving to Annandale 17 years ago. Her husband John Thomas died in 1973. Joan was a bookkeeper for Arko Paper Products in So. Plainfield for 20 years before she retired in 2006. She was a former communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale.
Surviving is her son, John Thomas, also of Annandale, & three sisters, Mary Nagel of Glen Gardner, Patricia Charest of Cape Coral, Fl., & Jeannette Lane also of Florida.
Visiting will be Thursday 6-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 10AM funeral service at the funeral home on Friday. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury LI. Donations in her name would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave. Suite 251, Denville NJ 07834.
