Jesse Trexler Obituary

Jesse James Trexler, age 88, veteran WWII, served under General Patton in the US Army and Prisoner of War in Germany. He was the beloved husband of Jane, nee Bloodworth, loving father of Larry Joe (Lisa) , J. Keith (Donna) and Greg (Cathy); proud grandfather of Ryan, Kari and Anthony; honored great-grandfather of 5; dear brother of Betty (the late Robert) Baker, Edith (the late Calvin) Dillman, Roy Lee (Evelyn) Trexler, Gene (Doris) Trexler, Mac (Nettie) Trexler and Terry Trexler and the late Charlie (survived by Ruth) Trexler and the late Sam (survived by Omega) Trexler; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst, Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 3 to 9 p.m. with memorial service at 7: 30 p.m. Occupation- Manager of a cartage company. His company was in charge of hauling the Christmas tree for the City of Chicago as well as hauling the wood pilings used on Lower Wacker Drive.
