Jeannette H. Arnolde, 87, of Westmont, IL, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1:09 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. surrounded by members of her family.
She was born in Chicago, IL to Christopher and Jeannette (Taylor) McGuire and was united in marriage to her late husband Robert F. Arnolde in Westmont, IL, on December 2, 1950 until his passing on October 6, 1999.
Together they raised (8) children in a small modest home in Westmont filled with strong faith and love.
Jeannette was a wonderful mother and wife who did her utmost to provide for her family with love and support holding numerous jobs during her working career to help support the family.
She was a great cook who always made gourmet meals out of simple ingredients. She was a hard worker and compassionate friend to all who knew her.
She will be lovingly missed mostly by her loving children Linda (James) MacVicar, Robert (Susan) Arnolde, William (Ellen) Arnolde, Shirley (Debbie) Schnabel, Joanne (Jack) Stefiuk, Edward (Barb) Arnolde, Suzette Arnolde, Richard Arnolde, (18) grandchildren, (21) great grandchildren and (1) great-great grandchild.
She is also survived by her sister Kathy (Tom) Murray.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Robert, her sister Dolly (James) Ashfield, her brothers Tom McGuire, Robert McGuire and James McGuire, and grandchild Jonathan Hessler.
Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 109 North Cass Avenue, Westmont, IL 60559 with Chapel service Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. also at Toon Funeral Home, 109 North Cass Avenue, Westmont, IL.
Interment to follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, 6900 South Cass Avenue, Darien, IL. For further information, www.toonfuneralhome.com or 630-968-2262.

Another year without my Mom. It seems it was just yesterday that I had to say goodbye. The tears are still flowing. The emptiness is still there. I miss my mom's hugs and her telling me everything will be ok. I miss her so darn much!!

It is coming close to the anniversary of Moms death. I am still morning the loss of my best friend! The continued need to hear her voice, to hug her once again just aches in my heart. I miss her so darn much !!!

My Dearest Mother, I miss your smile, and laugh. I miss talking to you every day, or every other day. I don't know how to go on without you :,(. Ugh, I can't call you, and this hurts my heart. I hope you are at peace, and I love and miss you so much. I miss our lunches, and you were so happy to get out with us. My birthday partner too. It was our special day together February 28th. You always said I was your best birthday present, but you were mine.
