Jeanne Stivender Obituary

Jeanne Lee Stivender age 35 of Newton, Texas was born in Colville, Washington on Feb. 16, 1973 and died in Newton, Texas on Nov. 28, 2008. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Newton with burial to follow at Bob Herrin Cemetery in Newton County. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home in Newton. Jeanne was a nurse and she had lived in Newton most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Mark Stivender of Newton, her children, Ashley Brianne, Kelsey Rose, Colton Harley and Aidan Patrick Stivender all of Newton, her mother, Louise Haag of Burkeville, Texas, her father and step-mother, Bob and June Haag of Newton, Texas, sisters, Marie Marston of Spokane, Wash., Shirley Nevin of Toledo, Wash. and Katy Grigar of Sealy, Texas, brothers, Duncan Hurst of Eatonville, Wash., Steve Hurst of Baker City, Oregon and Robby Haag of Jasper, Texas and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
