Jeanne Jehorek Obituary

Jeanne Jehorek, age 86, died peacefully August 10, 2010 supported by her loving family. Beloved wife of late Hillard "Jerry" Jehorek; devoted mother of Steven (Audrey) Jehorek, Sharon (David) Phillips, Jan (Mark) Schreiber, and Judith (Tom) Kinnavy; cherished grandmother of Kaitlin (Peter) Unsworth, Colin and Cameron Phillips; Jessica Jehorek; and Ryan and Austin Kinnavy. Dear sister of the late Ellen Hicks and Arthur Lewis. A long-time resident of Elmhurst, Jeanne moved to Oak Park's Holley Court Terrace in 1997 and then earlier this year to Naperville's Tabor Hills Retirement Center where she enjoyed the new friendships and caring staff that her new homes provided. A quiet listener, thoughtful commentator and always supportive mom, nana and friend, she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jeanne often said that her greatest pride and joy was her family. We will miss her dearly. All are invited to attend a memorial service in celebration of Jeanne's life Saturday, Sept. 11 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL. Family and friends will gather beginning at 9:30 a.m. for visitation prior to an 11 a.m. funeral mass.
