Jeanette Nemchock Obituary
Jeanette E. Nemchock nee Baumann, age 90, longtime resident of Elmhurst.
Beloved wife of William C. for 68 years; mother, William G. (Rita), Philip (Becky) and Joan; grandmother of Joseph (Carrie), Deanna and Eric; great grandmother of Dane, Lily and Grant; sister of Jeri Dietrich and Anna Marie Jansky; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was a WWII Navy Veteran and member of Elmhurst T.H.B. Post #187 A.L. Jeanette was very active in the Elmhurst Community having volunteered for many years with the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild and League of Women Voters.
Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2015. Prayers 9:30 A.M. Saturday, March 28, at the funeral home, going to Visitation Church. Mass at 10:00 A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials will be appreciated for the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.

I have only fond memories of Grandma Jeanette. She and Grandpa Bill helped make my childhood fun and memorable. I'll never forget how she always went out of her way to make sure I felt loved. Missing her every day. Love, Eric

So sorry to hear. Jeanette was a kind caring lady. She used to take a group of kids in our neighborhood to the zoo every summer. My Prayers go out to her family.

Aunt Jeanette was such a fun loving person to be around. I am saddened to hear of her passing.. My mother died the same day that Aunt Jeanette did. Though my mom was almost 100, it seems that Aunt Jeanette left us way too soon. I'm sorry for all of her family. Love Pat and Gary Nemchock
