Jean Lehmann Obituary

Jean Elizabeth B. Lehmann, 90 years young, passed away peacefully at the Beacon Hill Nursing Center in Lombard, IL on August 31, 2011. Jean was a lifetime resident of Downers Grove, Il. She moved to Beacon Hill two years ago. She was married to William (deceased) for 39 years and was a banker in Downers for 22 years; followed by a second career as a Home Economics teacher at York High School in Elmhurst, IL. Jean will be remembered for her zest for knowledge, cooking, pursuit of education and love of music. Her diversified group of friends, intelligence, strength and generosity, coupled with her care giving, dinner parties and desire to master other languages were foremost in her life. Until her move to Beacon Hill she always had a devoted pet by her side. A celebraiton of Jean's life is being planned for what would have been her 91st birthday.
