Jean Bruin, 86, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 in her home. Born June 24, 1920 in Jersey City, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Ignacious and Helen (Rakowski) Wisniewski. She and her husband, Gerardus J., would have celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on July 10. Her first husband, Thaddeus Laskowski, died in 1961. Jean loved her home. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Jerry; a son, Jerry C. Laskowski and his wife, Bredine, of Bethlehem Township; a daughter, Helen Koshensky and her husband, Bruce, of Effort, Pa.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Papasso, Kristin Attanasio, Michael, Mark and David Pawlicki; 10 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Benny and Joseph Wisniewski, died earlier. Services: 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Easton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the church, First Street, Miller Heights.
