Jim - My Friend, Neighbor & Mentor. The man with the Golden Smile. You taught me many things when we worked together & had great times at the bon fires in my yard. My deepest sympathy to your family. You will be missed but your smile will always live fondly in my Heart.

I can't say enough about my brother Jim, he always had a big smile and a big heart to match.
We would talk to each other at least once a day, if not more. If it was early afternoon and we were ready to hang up, Jim would say have a good day, I Love You. If it was in the evening, he would say have a good evening, I Love You.
In many of our phone calls, Jim would say how lucky we are to have Mom, she's always there for us, and
how much he loves her.
The way Jim cares reminds me of a local store in town, the girls would use a shopping cart to hold the door open during the summer, which was'nt working out so well. So Jim, goes home makes a wedge, drills a hole, puts a piece of leather through it, so they can hang it close by. That's our Jim, always thoughtful.
We love you Jim so much, and we will miss you forever. We can't wait to be with you again, to see your beautiful smile and caring heart.
Jim, thanks for all the wonderful memories we have made together, I will cherish everyone of them forever.
Jim, give Dad a big hug and kiss from me, give Muggs my love. I promise you Jim, we will take good care of Mom. But, I can not replace your calls to her, twice a day every morning and everynight, that she misses so much.
Karl and I will take good care of Boz, love him and spoil him like you did.

Jim, may you fly on the wings of one thousand angels as they carry you home to a place free from suffering and pain a place where you are at rest. Sleep peacefully Jim, our angel... Your wings are now on tight. Fly free!
I am so very proud
to be your sister.
I love you Jim
Nancy

Townsend Family,

I'm so sorry for you loss. Jim made the world a better place. I have such great memories from "back in the day" and his house where you had to climb on top of a picnic table to get in the front door. He has a special place in my heart.

Wow, the memories I have....so so many. Days at the lake with Jim, Nancy and Gary, Aunt Olga and Uncle Roy. As a kid I could not have asked for better memories. Days on the the lake and nights by the fire. Jim was the older brother that I never had. I will miss him, more than most may realize. I love you all and my prayers are with everyone during this hard time. Love, Julie

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Jim, I'll always respect at how Jim had an innate ability to stand up for what he believed in, and wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind better than anyone I've ever known. You will be missed JT. Rest in peace.

Jim was my cousin. He was a loving, kind, talented, sweet guy. He will be missed by so many who loved him. My mom would take my daughter Julie to their lake house for summer vacation and Jim would be happy to spend time with her. He was 10 years older than her but loved her company. Jim would visit my mom and grandma and stay for hours talking about his life and ours. Words can't describe how special he was. Rest in peace, Jim. I know you are celebrating with you Dad, my Mom, Gramma Rose and Uncle Ray. Love, Carol
