He is still missed by family and friends. He makes heaven even greater!

We are so happy to have known James, and still see his light shining brightly in Diane, her children, and now, a grandchild. If these be the pleasures on earth, what then the joys of heaven?

He is missed every day by his loving wife and many friends.

What great memories we have of your wonderful Jimmy! He welcomed us to the lake, many years ago now, with an evening of charming and hilarious anecdotes about treasured times past, all of which illustrated his spirit and passion for life. We were so blessed to have him as a neighbor and friend, whose legacies of kindness and love are still all around us.

I have such WONDERFUL memories of Uncle Jimmy! He was always quick with a hug and a laugh. So many great times camping, swimming, snowmobiling or just sitting around the campfire or Grandma Froehlke's table talking. Uncle Jimmy loved his family more than anything and that clearly shined through in everything he did. My heart goes out to the family--I hope you take some comfort in all of your special memories with him and I know he will live on in your hearts forever.

I’m very sorry about Uncle Jimmy’s passing. I will always remember the great family times together and his caring and bringing laughter to everyone. He lived a great life and brought joy to so many!

James was a kind man always with a friendly word and smile.

I am saddened over the death of Jimmy. Looks like our old pot luck group has to move our meals to a heavenly place. I am thinking back at all of the fun times we had. Jimmy was a big part of that. He was a true friend.

He was a great brother-in-law and a fun guy. He always welcomed me and my family whether to his home in Elmhurst or to his fun lake place on Lily Lake. He was devoted to his family and his religion. Miss you Jimmy. You are now at peace.
